Support Your Local Brewery

I realized after some conversations with friends that I didn't have any local PA or Philadelphia Breweries on my list for the Top 10 in Ought Ten.  This is for a multitude of reasons, the most prevelant being that since I have access to these beers so easily, I sometimes forget how good they are.  I do always try to drink local beer when I'm out - it's the craft bottles that I hoarde.  I have also been to lots of these fine breweries for tours, tastings, etc. over the years.  That being said, that doesn't mean I can't plan a few day trips or afternoon visits to some of these and share my experiences with you all.

In that spirit, I'm making a commitment to visit the following local breweries as well, the Local 10 in 2010 we'll call it.  The list of breweries for these visits include:

1. Philadelphia Brewing Company
2. Yards Brewing Company
3. Slyfox Brewing Company
4. Troegs Brewing Company
5. Yuengling Brewing
6. Flying Fish Brewing Company
7. Weyerbacher Brewing
8. Victory Brewing
9. Voodoo Brewery
10. Evolution Craft Brewing

It's important to note, I've already been to Yards, Yuengling, Flying Fish, Victory and Slyfox - but we'll go again. This time we'll take better note to report back to you faithful readers.
