Not too hard, not too soft, live and direct from Philly, this beer was brewed in collaboration with Sixpoint Brewery in Brooklyn, NY for the Beer for Beasts fundraiser. It is a dark, sweet cask conditioned porter.
An English Ordinary Bitter, coming in at a whopping 3.8% abv, brewed for Kennett Restaurant’s One Year Anniversary.
This pre-prohibition style porter was inspired by John F. Betz’s receipe for a porter, fermented with german style lager yeast. Brewed with 1 lb of molasses, and carbonated with light brown sugar this period brew won us some acclaim at the Beer Baron’s to Homebrewers event. Look for it again soon.
A fresh wet hopped harvest ale using an abundance of fresh cascade hops grown in the Queen Village Community Garden.
Dark yet surprisingly light in body porter with a slight bitterness and malty backbone complimented with hints of chocolate and a roasted coffee aroma. Brewed for a friend’s wedding.
